Why Altrivas

Competing for Federal grant funding has become competitive. Just like Federal contracts. Both require a structured approach to finding, competing, implementing and complying with the requirements. Altrivas helps you do these things with the AIM for Grants system (PREPARE, PROPOSE, and PERFORM) to prepare your organization and team to pursue grant opportunities, craft a winning proposal, and perform the grant award to comply with Federal requirements and pass your audits successfully.

The goal is to win in the competitive arena, comply with the requirements, and be ready to win again.

Altrivas LLC

Altrivas LLC is a private consulting company owned by Bob Hollowell. Bob brings a unique mix of skills from serving in Federal and local government, non-profit, and private industry roles as coach, advisor, trainer, instructional designer, auditor, administrator, program manager, and project manager.

Bob has over 25 years of experience working with teams to capture over $1 Billion in Federal grants and contracts and implement over $500 Million in Federal grants.

AIM for Grants takes an integrated approach to Federal grants. Bob found that linear processes and lifecycle diagrams did not fully capture the activities necessary to capture and implement Federal grants. Capture should be planned well in advance of awarding agencies releasing opportunities. Projects must be developed to comply with Federal rules. Proposals must be crafted to win. Implementing a Federal grant goes beyond managing a project. To keep on a winning cycle, pass audits successfully and keep your reputation intact you must comply with all the Federal rules, have internal controls in place, appropriate policies and procedures in place, and well vetted and managed grant partners (subrecipients).
